"Stem 20-35 cm, clavate. Leaves 8-10 x 2 cm, oblong-lanceolate, acute at both ends, 2 or 3 towards the tip. Flowers white, in short, 2-4 flowered raceme on leafless stem; dorsal sepal 23 x 9 mm, oblong-lanceolate, obtuse, 5-veined; lateral sepals 21 x 6-11 mm, obliquely ovate-oblong, lanceolate, subacute, 7-veined; petals 23 x 10-12 mm, obliquely elliptic, apiculate, 7-veined; lip 21 x 10-15 mm, quadrately ovate, apiculate, hairy within; side lobes ovate, obtuse; midlobe ovate, acute, apiculate, margins, crenulate."

Dendrobium heterocarpum, the Different-fruited Dendrobium, is a species of orchid. It is native to the Himalayas (Yunnan, Nepal, Bhutan, Assam, etc), the Indian Subcontinent (India, Sri Lanka) and Southeast Asia (Indochina, Malaysia, Indonesia).[2][3][4][5]
